A new study on solar-powered greenhouses presents great prospects for the future of eco-friendly farming. Researchers have tested greenhouses with semi-transparent solar cells to see how they impact the growth of the plants.
By generating electricity through these cells, the energy consumption can be reduced and the researchers tested the produce harvested afterward. They examined red lettuce and noticed that there was no major difference between the health of this lettuce and others grown in traditional greenhouses. Artist Creates Amazing Realistic Little Animals Entirely Out of Wool
Anna Yastrezhembovskaya is a very talented artist from Russia who crafts adorable little felt animals. She started working with felt after discovering toys made from wool which she bought for her daughters and instantly fell in love with them. Her needle-felted creations are full of joy and she makes all sorts of animals, from cute little bats to hedgehogs and birds.
